Kerry Stratford

Kerry Stratford is a veteran brand strategist, creative leader and digital innovator based in Arizona with more than 30 years of experience helping emerging companies and established organizations grow and reach their goals. A principal of Caliber Group, Kerry is known for combining marketing and creative excellence with strategic business thinking to move brands and organizations forward.

As President and Chief Creative Officer of Caliber, Kerry is responsible for agency management, business development, creative and brand strategy, digital innovation and talent development. Kerry founded her own business early in her career and, following a successful exit, later merged her firm with longtime collaborator Linda Welter to help create what is now known as Caliber Group. She has helped hundreds of startups, emerging and mature companies grow, navigate change and seize new opportunities, while staying at the forefront of marketing and digital innovation. Kerry also speaks widely on topics such as leadership, marketing, branding and creativity.

Kerry currently serves as President of the Tucson Advertising Federation Educational Foundation and is past chair of the University of Arizona Alumni governing body, representing more than 300,000 alumni globally. She also serves on The Chamber of Southern Arizona’s Economic Development Council, Local First Arizona’s Southern Arizona Steering Committee, and previously served on the executive board of the Arizona Small Business Association for more than six years, including during the COVID pandemic, when she helped provide leadership and stability for businesses across the state. Steady under pressure and widely respected for developing emerging talent, Kerry was recognized as Mentor of the Year by the University of Arizona.

Kerry has been inducted into the American Advertising Federation Tucson Hall of Fame, received the American Advertising Federation’s national Silver Medal Award for outstanding industry contributions, and was named Advertising Professional of the Year. Her leadership has also been recognized by Greater Tucson Leadership, the Arizona Small Business Association and National Association of Women Business Owners. She is a member of the American Institute of Graphic Arts and the Academy of Interactive & Visual Arts, for which she serves nationally as a judge.

Kerry earned a bachelor of Fine Arts with an emphasis in Visual Communication from the University of Arizona, where she later taught design classes for more than a decade. Her creative work has been featured in national and international books and publications, including Communication Arts, Graphis, HOW and Print, and she has been recognized in Who’s Who in Graphic Design USA.
